While you can always email or call us with your questions, we encourage you to check out this section, as your questions may be answered!

  • If the door is open, come on in. Just be cautious with small children and pets! If we are lifting and moving boats we ask you to keep a safe distance.

  • Our hours vary. The workshop is closed during the winter season but our office is open year round.

  • You can always stop by to see our boats and watch us work. If the workshop is closed or you aren’t able to visit simply email or call us. Visit our contact page here.

  • You can purchase your dory online or you can contact us.

  • You can order through our online shop or contact us.

    Orders made by contacting us require a 50% deposit prior to building/ securing your dory.

    We accept all major credit cards, Canadian emts or US money wires to our bank account.

  • When you purchase a dory here in Nova Scotia, we charge HST which is currently 14%.

    If we ship it to you, it will depend on your province tax rate.

    US residents that will have their dory shipped to them (as opposed to picking it up) will not be charged tax but could be subject to US customs & duties which is completely out of our control.

  • Yes! Unless you order online and pay the full amount, we do require 50% of the total up front to begin building your dory.

  • We do. While we always encourage you to come and visit us and pick up your dory (we can provide you with local trailer contacts), we can ship your dory to you.

    You are responsible for shipping costs and we can provide an estimate based on the style of dory and where you have it shipped.

  • You get a set of oars (sizing based on the type of dory), a set of tholepins and a classic dory bailer.

  • Yes! Contact us or shop online to purchase oars, tholepins, bailers and more.

  • Want to add special features? Contact us to custom build your dory exactly as you need. We will guide you every step of the way.

    You can also order removable floor boards, extra seating and storage.

  • Yes! Typically dories are painted with dory buff yellow and classic duck green but we can offer red, blue, whatever you like.
