The Dory Shop Boatyard’s a hopping place this week as we complete all of the last-minute details for the launch of the first of our twin schooners, the Martha Seabury.

The big event is slated for Tuesday, August 7 at noon and everyone’s invited to join us.

Meanwhile, inside Plant 1, Jay’s busy building a very special tender for the schooner. She won’t be ready for launch day (he’s literally just getting started) but she’s to be ready for the vessel’s sea trials in a few weeks and then her premiere at this year’s Newport International Boat Show September 13-16.

So mark it on your calendars to be in Lunenburg next Tuesday for an old-fashioned vessel launch at The Dory Shop!
