First snowstorm
The first snowstorm of the year blew through last night and brought with it a storm surge that did a number on the boatyard landscape.
By morning, there was no snow to speak of; the white stuff having changed to rain by midnight. But the surge left quite a gash. In fact, there’s now a rather sizable trench running along the landward edge of the deck that spans between our two buildings and where we sometimes keep boats. We’ll have to mark it well for Saturday so that no one takes a spill while attending keel laying ceremonies for the twin schooners.
Meanwhile, Jay continues to work on the little Nutshell Pram as shown here.
