Course dory launched

Our spring dory course wrapped up Saturday with the launch of the brand-new Handline dory, seen here.

Course participants endured a brief initiation ceremony involving the four gastronomic sacraments of Lunenburg – pig’s puddin’, sauerkraut, Solomon Gundy (pickled herring) and dark rum. They then carried the boat down to the water’s edge and pushed her in stern first. This was followed by a ceremonial row around the harbour. Watch them returning here.

All in all, we had a great week and could not have asked for a better bunch of guys to share it with us!
