No flunky here!

My too-cute-for-words boy just completed a project on Banks dories, which he entered in the Riverport & District Elementary School Heritage Fair. He did a great job and I was very proud. But the thing that cracked me up entirely was when I learned from a teacher that Nathan had spent a great deal of time on fair day trying to convince the adult visitors, as well as the teachers, that they should buy dories; this after I made an offhand comment that if anyone who saw his project bought a dory, I would pay him a $50 commission. Perhaps we’ll put him to work in the sales!
