A Lunenburg dory

I’ve been falling down on the job a bit lately. Yes, I’ve been posting updates about some events we’ve been involved with, but I’ve rather ignored our primary mission, which of course is building boats. And that’s a shame since Jay’s been working on a sweet little one.

This is a Lunenburg dory, which means it’s 12 feet on the bottom, 15.5 feet overall. Jay finds it a nice change after building two big Fortune Bay dories back-to-back.

This dory also has a modified stern so it will be able to take a small trolling motor. Jay’s currently building a comfortable stern seat complete with storage locker.
