Off to the Island

The sailing rig isn’t in her yet but our latest Fortune Bay dory is off to her owner in Prince Edward Island.

This turned out to be a particularly lovely boat with lots of added features including not only a motor well and centerboard but also a big comfy stern seat with storage locker. She’s also a very handsome boat with her pine tar treated interior planking and gunwales.

The bottom and garboard planks on this boat were glassed to ensure she can go straight from trailer to water when her owner has an all-too-rare day off.
